A Birthday to Remember: Petland Fairfield Surprises Young Girl with a New Best Friend

Some birthdays are special. Others are unforgettable. For seven-year-old Bernadette—lovingly known as Bea—her recent birthday celebration at Petland Fairfield became a life-changing moment filled with love, healing, and puppy cuddles.

For Bea, the past year had been filled with unimaginable loss. Within just weeks, her family was shaken by the passing of her father, then her grandmother. The Cavapoo, now lovingly named Big Red in honor of Bea’s Nebraska roots, has since become an integral part of the family. And the story doesn’t end there—Bea’s family recently welcomed another furry friend, Oreo, purchased from Petland Mason, further growing their circle of love.
